Maldon Station Wins National Trust Restoration Award
Maldon Station, the terminus of the Victorian Goldfields Railway, a preserved steam railway, has won the National Trust (Mount Alexander Branch) Restoration Award for Public Buildings. The historic 1889 building was gutted by fire in 2009.

Arch of Victory Opening
The Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, re-opened the historic Arch of Victory in Ballarat on 6 November 2011 following its restoration by the City of Ballarat and The Avenue of Honour Committee.
The restoration works included replacement of cracked and defective cement render, installation of new Erco LED lighting and applying mineral paint. The project was scoped and documented by Fraser Brown while at Lovell Chen and contract administration completed by Quadratum on contract to Lovell Chen.
